For over a decade we have been encouraging teens through strength training, incoproprating the Word of God, and learning that all great things come from effort.
Sons of Adam is Founded and run by Ryan Parr, owner of Bear Bones Strength Gym, a private small group strength training facility in Colorado Springs. Ryan has over 10 years of experience as a strength coach working with teens and adults in both the public and private sector.
Our Mission
To empower teens to live a fulfilling life through learning their full capabilities of physical and mental strength, and giving glory to God.
WHAT IS IT?
Sons of Adam is a strength training program that teaches teens the correct way to lift, encourages them to push their physical limits, and keep them in a positive mindset. This program teaches teen that their hard work is a direct contributor to their success, and encourages them to have it spill into other areas of their life. We tie our physical lessons into the Word of God, and have a weekly focus on bible verse and how it shows up in our daily lives.
WHERE IS IT?
Teens either train on site at Bear Bones Strength Gym, located at 2727 N Cascade Ave in Colorado Springs, or special accommodations can be made for groups at schools or churches, or anywhere teens gather and need support!
WHEN ?
On site training at the gym for teen is Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, at 5pm, and lasts 1 hour. If you have a group that is seeking another time/ location, reach out to bearbonesstrength@gmail.com.
HOW MUCH IS IT?
Pay what you can.
The cost for us to run this is $99 a head per month for space and equipment and coaches, but we want this to stay available to all, so if you can’t swing it right now, reach out and we will get you in anyway, and we’re working to close the gap by donations, sponsors, and founder Ryan Parr’s gym, www.bearbonesstrength.com.
